North American Pt-to-Pt Association
Description: The North American Point-to-Point Assoc. (NAPPA) is a 501c3 not for profit organization formed as a "grass roots" effort to bring steeplechasing back to it's foxhunting background, and to educate amateur's, introduce them into steeplechasing, while creating a platform where they can compete amoungst other individuals on their level. NAPPA hosts clinics and acts as a consultant for Foxhunts and other groups wishing to put on a Pt-to-Pt race. NAPPA also has created races for children called the Field Master's Chase where they follow a "Field Master" around a mini timber course and them are released to race to the finish after the last fence has been jumped. It is the goal of the Field Master's Chase to safely educate and teach kids how to properly ride a steeplechase race. An adult division of the Field Master's Chase is also offered.
