  • CALIFORNIA AMATEUR SKATEBOARD LEAGUE

  • Description: The California Amateur Skateboard League, now in its 24th year, is organized and staffed by the United Skateboard Federation, Inc. There is a southern and northern C.A.S.L. Street Series. This year both of these Street point series will conclude in November with a northern "AWARDS DAY" and a southern 'AWARDS DAY" day for members, sponsors, friends and families. The top ranking skaters from each series will advance to the California State Street Championship, December 2004. LOCATION TO BE ANNOUNCED. New for 2004 is the C.A.S.L. Vert, Ramp and Pool Series. These additional C.A.S.L. Series will each have 3 to 5 qualifying contests with their respective State Championships being held on July 18, 2004 in San Diego at the 2004 California State Games. Throughout the year, U.S.F. staff and volunteers work with young skateboarders, their families and various communities to promote the sport of skateboarding as both a recreational and serious athletic endeavor with emphasis focused on communities providing skaters with "Safe" skateboarding environments.
