South County Skate Park
Description: This park is open T-Fr. 2:30-5p.m.,Sat-Su. 9-5. After the time change the hours are T-Fr. 2:30-6 and Sat-Su 9-6. We charge two dollars for an all day pass, thrity day passes are available for $50. We are a full pad park, Helmets, Knee and Elbow pads are required when skate at our park. We have a few sets of pads at the park that skaters can use. We also rent the park out for Birthdays and special events. Interested parties can call me, Dave, at 773-4182. We are holding the Central Coast Monster Skate park Series that include five other skate parks in the area. The first one is this Saturday the 27th of March and the other contest will be held every other Saturday. The first contest is at the San Luis Obispo Skate Park. The other dates are April 10th at Paso Robles Skate Park, April 24th at the George C. Beatie (Atascadero) Skate Park, May 8th at Morro Bay Skate Park, May 22nd at Santa Maria Valley YMCA Skate Park and June 5th at the South County Skate Park, in Grover Beach. These are individual contest but we will be keeping points and awarding a series winner at the final contest on June 5th. The cost of the series is $5 for each contest if you pre-register, $25 for all the contests or $8 dollars the day of the contest. We also hold contests at the South County Skate park in September and February too.
